In order for your child to feel independent, happy, confident and successful there are some expectations for you to provide for their time at school to be successful.
1.)Please remember the importance of a proper breakfast, clothing, and hygiene. Please have your child fed with a nutritious breakfast, if they arrive after 8:30am so they have a full tummy. b Children learn better with proper sleep and food. Please bring your child to school fully dressed for the weather, proper hygiene, such as hair pulled back for girls to prevent lice, clean faces after eating, fresh diapers in the morning, etc..
2.) Please have 3 changes of clothes available at all time's in your childs' cubbie labeled, with shirts, pants, socks, underwear, raingear, boots, comfortable walking shoes, jackets, sweaters, mittens and please always dress your child for the weather. In the Fall, Winter, Spring always have a warm jacket, hat and gloves available at all times. In the Summer, please have a light sweater, sweatshirt, shorts, swimsuit, pants, shirts, sunhats, towel and all the normal change of clothes at all times. Please keep your child's diapers stocked on a daily basis!
3.).Please Provide your child with a healthy lunch, in a lunch box, that meets all the nutritional requirements. That includes, fruits, vegetables, lean meats/protein, whole grains and healthy fats. Remember your child stomach is as big as their fist. PLEASE REMEMBER TO BRING SOY MILK, OR OTHERS, LABELED. IF YOUR CHILD HAS ANY ALLERGIES "AN INDIVIDUAL PLAN" WILL NEED TO BE FILLED OUT.
4.).Please remember to bring your child to school healthy. Remember to read the "Keep Me Home IF", and if your child is experiencing any of these illnesses, respecting the other children, teachers and families and keeping your child home. PLEASE NOTIFY US WITH ANY ILLNESSES SO WE CAN KEEP OUR CHILDREN HEALTHY!
5.) Please respect the classroom and teachers, by reading your child's calendar and curriculum and coming to school prepared with the classroom activities, or being prepared for a Field Trip.
6).Please respect our school's hours and to be prompt on picking up your child, or calling to let the staff know if you will be late, and respecting the $2.50 a minute late charge if you are not on time. Remembering that the staff have other responsibilities and activities planned after their day at work. PLEASE BE PROMPT!
7.).Please keep all your emergency information current, and if you have any changes, to inform the teacher or the director so we can keep your child safe, and to keep you informed in case of any emergency.
8).Please read our emails, and be involved with our website, so that you can be prepared and aware of any changes, or events that Agape Childcare Center will be posting.
9.). Please be involved in your child's learning, ask questions, read our information board at the front entry, and feel free to come and play in your child's classroom.
10).Please respect our Medication Policy, by bringing Medication that is age appropriate or Doctor prescription, in original container, with dropper if needed, with a signed Medication Form, filled out correctly.
11.) PLEASE PLEASE, Sunscreen your child in the morning, during sunny days, to prevent sunburns. Agape Childcare Center will sunscreen in the afternoon, or whenever needed. Please fill out our Sunscreen Policy Form, you have the option to bring in your own sunscreen, but it is on a different form.
12). Please remember to bring in bedding, sheet and blanket, sentimental item to sleep with, so your child feels comfortable.
13) PLEASE KEEP YOUR CHILD'S CUBBIE CLEAN AND ORGANIZED, FREE OF FOOD, AND REMOVING PAPERS, AND NO CHOKABLE HAZARDS SUCH AS MONEY OR BALLOONS.
14)Please check your child's mailbox regularly, with child's calendar, activities, art work, and notes.
15)Please notify Agape Toddler and Preschool Center if your child will be to school, before 8am or after 10am, or if they will not be attending school for the day, and please keep us updated on your family vacations.
16)PLEASE MAINTAIN OPEN LINES OF COMMUNICATION WITH YOUR CHILD'S TEACHER, SO WE CAN PROVIDE EXCELLENT CARE FOR YOUR CHILD. Such as, a bad night sleep, not eating, bathroom issues, etc..
17)PLEASE REMEMBER TO SIGN YOUR CHILD IN AND OUT, WITH CHILD'S FULL NAME AND YOUR SIGNATURE ON THE PROPER SIGN-IN SHEET, AS WELL AS PERMISSION SLIPS WHEN THEY ARE POSTED.
